eine Menge Holz

Mein Mann war heute mit ein paar Kumpels im Wald, um 5 Bäume zu fällen. Wir brauchen Holz, für den nächsten Winter. Es ist eine Menge Holz geworden und sie konnten noch nicht alles auf unseren Hof bringen, aber ich finde, es ist auch so schon genug ...
Zur Orientierung ... die Holzwand die man im 2. Bild im Hintergrund sieht, ist mind. 1,80 m hoch ;-)
Ich war in der Zeit mit meinen Mädels in der Schwimmhalle ...

Today DH was with some guys in the forrest to fell some trees. We need firewood for the next winter. As you can see on my photos it's really a lot of wood they made!! To image how high the wood mountain is ... the wall in the background of the second photo is 1,80 m (5,90 feet) at least!!
My girls and I spent the morning in the swimming hall.

Schwimmkurs

Nach langer Zeit war ich heute mal wieder dran, die Mädels zum Schwimmkurs zu bringen. Es war eine lustige Stunde für die Kinder, denn sie durften mit Schwimmflossen schwimmen. Leider wollten die Flossen nicht aufs Bild (oder dank der Auslöseverzögerung meiner kleinen Digitalkamera), deshalb ein Bild von Lilli mit Schwimmbrille.

After a long time it was me today to take the girls (Lilli and her friend) to the swimming class. It was a funny time for the girls because they had the chance to use flippers. I tried to picture the flippers but they didn't want (or thanks to the deceleration of my small digicam). Therefore you get a photo of Lilli with the swimming glases.

Seepferdchen

Heute war Lillis Schnupperstunde für den Schwimmkurs. Ja, ich weiß, sie ist alt genug um eigentlich schon längst schwimmen zu können. Sie kann auch, aber es fehlte immer noch das letztes Bißchen Ausdauer.
Ja, und was soll ich sagen ... an der Überschrift könnt ihr es vermutlich schon erahnen ... sie hat direkt erst mal Seepferdchen gemacht!! Zusammen mit ihrer Freundin. Beide sind natürlich super stolz jetzt. Ich natürlich ebenfalls, denn dass es so schnell geht, hätte ich nicht gedacht.

Today was Lillis first day for the swimming education. I know, normally the kids are able to swim with 7 years. She knows how to swim only the patience lacked.
In Germany the first swimming badge is called 'Seepferdchen' (sea horse) and to get it you have to swimm 25 meters without help.
What should I say?? She got her 'Seepferdchen' right today!! And her best friend too.
Both are totally proud and I'm also!
